1. Claim status matters
| Status | Meaning | Required treatment |
|---|---|---|
| Verified | Supported by a stated authoritative record or reviewed evidence. | Retain the source and verification date; do not extend the claim beyond what was checked. |
| Screened | Passed an initial data or rules-based assessment. | Use to prioritise diligence, not as final technical or legal confirmation. |
| Modelled | Calculated from stated assumptions and available inputs. | Show material assumptions and validate before investment or contracting. |
| Inferred | A reasoned commercial reading rather than direct evidence. | Label it and obtain corroboration before acting materially. |
| Buyer to confirm | Information or approval is outstanding. | Do not represent it as complete, approved or secured. |
2. Permitted purposes
Authorised users may use available information to evaluate and prioritise opportunities, conduct internal diligence, manage authorised partner workflows and produce expressly permitted customer materials. Use must remain within the organisation, territory, cohort, account and feature permissions agreed with Vantage Grid.
3. Contact and professional information
A company or professional-role match is not consent, outreach permission, credit approval or proof of authority. Users are independently responsible for lawful outreach, suppression screening, transparency information, objection handling and keeping communications relevant to the recipient’s business role.
4. Sharing and publication
Do not publish personal data or confidential opportunity records. Do not provide platform data to clients for their own marketing or lead generation. Customer-specific extracts may be shared only where the platform permits it, the information is directly relevant, required caveats remain visible and the recipient is bound to use it for the stated engagement.
5. Prohibited uses
You must not resell raw data; create or enrich an independent competing database; reverse engineer scoring or source-protection controls; remove attribution or caveats; attempt re-identification; combine information to infer sensitive characteristics; or use the service for discriminatory, deceptive or unlawful purposes.
6. Corrections, objections and suppression
Users must pass suspected errors, objections and suppression requests to Vantage Grid promptly and must stop affected outreach while an objection is active. Vantage Grid may correct, qualify, suppress or withdraw information and may record the action in an append-only audit trail.
7. Exports and derived work
Export rights are disabled unless expressly enabled. Permitted derived analysis must preserve provenance and claim status. A user may not avoid export limits through screenshots, automated collection, repeated manual copying or coordinated account use.
8. End of access
On termination or expiry, users must stop accessing the platform and delete retained data where required by the applicable agreement, except information that must lawfully be retained. Confidentiality, suppression and use restrictions continue.
9. Monitoring and enforcement
We may use proportionate account, export and audit records to protect data, investigate misuse and enforce allocations and permissions. Suspected misuse may result in restriction, suspension, termination and legal action.
