These terms apply to business use. A pilot agreement, subscription order, data schedule or other signed agreement may add to or replace parts of these terms. If they conflict, the signed agreement takes priority.

1. About us

Vantage Grid is operated by Vantagegrid Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 17093602. Our registered office is 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. Contact: hello@vantagegrid.co.uk.

2. Acceptance and authority

By accessing the platform, you confirm that you are acting for business purposes, have authority to bind the organisation associated with your account where applicable, and agree to these terms. Public website browsing does not create a subscription or advisory engagement.

3. Accounts

Accounts are personal to the authorised user. You must provide accurate information, protect credentials, use approved authentication methods and notify us promptly of suspected compromise. An organisation administrator may manage access for its users. We may suspend access to protect users, data, the service or third parties.

4. Permitted use

You may use the service for your organisation’s internal evaluation, origination, diligence and project workflow, and may create customer-facing materials where the service expressly permits it. Usage remains subject to your order, entitlements, allocation, export controls and the Data Use Policy.

5. Prohibited use

You must not circumvent access controls; scrape or bulk extract the service; resell or build a competing database from platform information; share accounts; expose another organisation’s confidential information; upload unlawful or malicious material; misrepresent screened information as verified; conduct unlawful marketing; or use the service to make solely automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about a person.

6. Opportunity allocation and confidentiality

Opportunity access, exclusivity, release and reassignment are governed by the applicable pilot or subscription agreement. Access does not establish ownership, consent, a secured transaction or a right to contact any person. Non-public opportunity and partner information must be kept confidential and used only for the permitted purpose.

7. Screened and modelled information

Property, roof, generation, demand, grid, financial and commercial outputs may be screened, estimated, inferred or modelled. They are decision-support inputs, not installer design, structural advice, legal advice, tax advice, investment advice, credit approval, grid approval, owner consent or a binding offer. You must complete appropriate technical, legal, commercial and regulatory diligence before relying on an output.

8. Your information and uploads

You retain rights in material you provide. You grant us the rights necessary to host, process, reproduce and transform it to provide and secure the service. You must have authority to provide it and must not upload unnecessary personal, confidential or infringing information.

9. Our rights

We and our licensors retain rights in the platform, software, designs, methodology, databases, reports and derived structures, excluding your pre-existing material. No right is granted except the limited right to use the service under these terms and the applicable order.

10. Availability and changes

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. We may change features to improve security, compliance or performance. Material reductions to a paid service will be handled under the applicable order.

11. Charges

Fees, taxes, payment dates, renewals, usage allowances and any completion-based economics are governed only by an agreed order or contract. Website statements and modelled commercial values are not invoices or binding fee commitments.

12. Liability

Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Subject to that, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, anticipated savings, opportunity, goodwill or data. Any financial cap and additional exclusions in a signed agreement take priority.

13. Ending access

You may stop using the public website at any time. Platform suspension, termination, data return, deletion and continuing obligations are governed by the applicable agreement. Confidentiality, intellectual-property, payment, liability and lawful retention provisions continue where their nature requires.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, unless a signed agreement states otherwise.

15. Changes

We may update these terms for legal, security or service changes. We will give platform customers reasonable notice of material changes where required.
