3. Where information comes from

We obtain information directly from users and customers, from organisations providing access, from public registers and open datasets, from property and energy evidence, and from contracted data or enrichment providers. Where information was not obtained from you, we maintain source and retrieval information where reasonably practicable.

4. Why we use information

We use information to respond to enquiries; provide, secure and support accounts; deliver commercial-property and renewable-energy intelligence; operate partner workflows; generate customer documents; maintain audit and compliance records; improve the service; prevent misuse; and communicate about relevant services where permitted.

5. Lawful bases

Depending on the activity, we rely on performance of a contract, steps requested before entering a contract, legitimate interests, legal obligations or consent. Our legitimate interests include operating a secure B2B service, maintaining accountable partner workflows, developing commercial-property intelligence and communicating relevant business services. We assess those interests against the rights of affected people.

6. Modelled information and decision support

The platform can screen, rank and model commercial opportunities. These outputs support human decisions; they are not intended to make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about individuals. Material commercial and technical decisions require human review and further validation.

7. Who receives information

Information may be processed by hosting, database, authentication, storage, email, scheduling, monitoring and professional-adviser providers acting under appropriate terms. We may also disclose relevant information to an organisation providing your account, authorised project participants, public authorities where legally required, or a successor to our business.

Our current core infrastructure includes Vercel for application hosting and Supabase for database, authentication and storage services. We will update this notice when material processing arrangements change.

8. International transfers

Some providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where required, we use an adequacy decision, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to approved standard contractual clauses, or another lawful safeguard.

9. Retention

We retain enquiry records only as long as needed to respond and manage the commercial relationship; account and operational records for the account lifecycle and a proportionate period afterwards; security and audit records for accountability and dispute prevention; and business intelligence while it remains relevant, sourced and necessary. Legal, tax, suppression and dispute records may be retained longer where required. A detailed retention schedule governs operational systems.

10. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and may withdraw consent at any time. You can also object to direct marketing at any time. We may need to verify your identity and some rights are subject to legal exemptions.

11. Complaints

Please contact us first so we can investigate. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

12. Changes

We review this notice as the service, law and suppliers change. Material changes will be brought to affected users’ attention where appropriate.
